Thanks for visiting The Raykin Law Firm.
At my office in Littleton, I focus on the following areas of law:
- Family/divorce law: this includes marriage and divorce; spousal maintenance (what was once known as “alimony”); parental rights and visitation; child support; changes to child visitation and support; and alternative dispute resolution and mediation. Divorces and changes to parenting plans can be very stressful things to deal with, and I can help you through the process at my Littleton office.
- Business law: this includes the formation of business; buying and selling of businesses; corporate buy/sell agreements; business disputes; compliance with regulations (such as regulations concerning liquor licenses); and litigation. Businesses are constantly being formed, bought and sold throughout Littleton and the Denver area. The processes involved often are complicated, and I can assist you through them.
- Non-profit law: more and more people throughout Littleton and the Denver area are forming 501(c)(3) organizations. Such an organization can be greatly beneficial to religious and other socially conscious groups.
- Estate planning: this covers will, trusts, estates and probate. I love working with Littelton families and families in the Denver area to help them plan well for their future. Don’t allow a lifetime of hard work to be negatively impacted by a failure to plan ahead for you children and other loved ones.
- Education law: I spent nearly 10 years working in education as a teacher and administrator in the Denver area before becoming an attorney. I know the ins and outs of how the education system works, and I’m familiar with issues involving special education, IEP creation and enforcement, and student discipline. Going through the process of special education and school discipline can be very intimidating for many parents, and they often choose to seek counsel in doing so.
